On June 26th Donna Hayes Wester and Brent Jones, with the Chiefs approval, spear-headed a donation drive to collect items of need to give to those affected by the catastrophic and fatal flooding in West Virginia.

A social media message was sent out and many in our community responded and delivered many items to Co 4. On July 1, Ambulance 48 was loaded with those items and left for Rainelle, WV early Saturday morning. Past Chief Penny Ferrier and Sgt. Lakesha Estep drove Ambulance 48 and rendezvoused with Donna Hayes Wester and delivered the donations to a distribution center in the town of Rainelle, where it was gratefully received.
