Why volunteer?
Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad, through it's affiliation with the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute, offers free training for every member of the department, including but not limited to:
- First Aid
- CPR
- Maryland EMT and National Registry certifications
- EMS Officer
- IV Technician
- Paramedic
Many of these certifications can be obtained through the volunteer system and used as tools in the professional medical field, allowing our volunteers to explore new career opportunties for themselves.
